Quarantine Omelette series: Pizza Omelet

Hi All,

Welcome to Foodmady once again. Today is Sunday, this one is the last recipe for this quarantine omelet series, in which I have posted some recipes related to an omelet. So let’s start today recipe 🙂


  • ¼ cup tomato sauce
  • Salt, pepper, and other seasonings to taste. See tips below
  • Cooking spray
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green bell peppers
  • 2 tablespoons chopped mushrooms
  • ÂĽ cup shredded mozzarella cheese



  1. Mix spices and tomato sauce and allow to meld flavors while preparing the rest of the recipe.
  2. Beat eggs well.
  3. Heat a small skillet over low heat, sprayed with cooking spray.
  4. Pour beaten eggs into skillet.
  5. Cover skillet.
  6. Cook for 3 minutes. Eggs should be almost set.
  7. Carefully flip the omelet over.
  8. Cook another minute.
  9. Combine mushrooms and peppers and cook 30 seconds in a microwave oven.
  10. Spread tomato-spice mix over the omelet.
  11. Sprinkle cheese over tomato sauce.
  12. Top cheese with hot mushrooms and peppers.
  13. Cover skillet.
  14. Cook another 2 minutes. Cheese should be melted.
