We have started other Did You Know Series, fruit facts. Today we will talk about Apple facts🍎. An apple is an edible fruit produced by an apple tree (Malus domestica). Apples have been grown for thousands of years in Asia and Europe and were brought to North America by European colonists. Apples have religious and mythological significance in many cultures, including Norse, Greek and European Christian tradition. So let’s start some more interesting facts about apple.😀

  • There are lots of different types of apples which include Fuji, Gala, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Pink Lady ou know and Granny Smith.
  • Granny Smith apples originated in Australia in 1868 accidentally after a chance seedling by a lady named Maria Ann Smith.
  • While most apples are eaten fresh, they have other uses such as juice making and cooking.
